Orientation program Spring 2014

The orientation program for newly admitted students of Spring 2014 of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was held in a local Convention Center on May 10, 2014.

Professor Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, VC UAP welcomed the students and Member of Board of Trustees (BOT) Ishtiaqe Ahmed and Al-haj Abdul Malek Mollah, Pro VC Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, Treasurer (Acting) Professor. Dr. Md. Shah Alam and Registrar Md. Abdul Mazid addressed the program among others.

Professor Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury said, quality education has three salient features good teachers, good curriculum and quality of students and we have these features at UAP. He also addressed that it is necessary to be an “Ethical Leaders” and advised new students to involve in co curricular activities.

Pro VC Professor M. R. Kabir suggested the students to take advice from their respective advisor in the departments.

Registrar Dr Abdul Mazid described the guidelines/rules and regulations to the new students.

“No unethical behavior to be tolerated in UAP”, Proctor Prof. Dr. Abu Sayeed M. Ahmed said.

Two alumni shared their UAP life and current employment opportunities and experience to the fresher and asked to maintain UAP rules in their student life.
